RedBull Ring GT4 Germany preview

ADAC GT4 Germany's only international guest game is on the ME Motorsport schedule.

Around six weeks after the race weekend at the Nürburgring, the ADAC GT4 Germany continues at the Red Bull Ring. The guest appearance on the picturesque track in Styria is the only foreign guest appearance in this year's top-class GT4 racing series season. As usual, the team from Schwäbisch Gmünd will use two BMW M4 GT4s.

Team owners Markus Eichele and Philip Wiskirchen as well as Andreas Jochimsen from Denmark and Motorsport Team Germany sponsorship pilot Thomas Rackl take turns in the two BMW M4 GT4s.

In doing so, the team wants to build on the strong performances from the last race weekend at the Nürburgring, where the racing team was able to celebrate their most successful weekend so far. Eichele and Wiskirchen finished Sunday's race in fourth overall position, which meant that the team owner won the trophy classification and his young teammate finished third in the rookie standings. On Saturday, Jochimsen and Rackl achieved their best result so far in sixth place.

“The whole team is looking forward to the event at the Red Bull Ring! “, says Markus Eichele full of anticipation. “It is an ultra-modern complex that is very idyllically located in Styria. BMW has also had a lot of success here in recent years. We hope that we can continue our successful streak in Austria! ”

The two ADAC GT4 Germany races will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 16:40 and will be broadcasted live on German free TV on Sport1 and on a worldwide live stream on YouTube.
