GT4 Germany season opener - Oschersleben

After extensive testing, ME Motorsport is starting its first full season in the ADAC GT4 Germany in Oschersleben.

There is great anticipation among the entire ME Motorsport team: At Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, the racing team from Schwäbisch Gmünd is starting their first full season in the top-class ADAC GT4 championship. The racing team led by team owner Markus Eichele will start two BMW M4 GT4s.

Markus Eichele will share an M4 GT4 with Philip Wiskirchen. The duo had already contested the 2023 season together in the GTC Race and was also able to gain further experience in the ADAC GT4 Germany at the guest start in Hockenheim. Thomas Rackl and the Dane Andreas Jochimsen take their seats in the team's second vehicle. Rackl is a funding pilot from Motorsport Team Germany, the joint funding program of the ADAC Sports Foundation and the DMSB, and will be making his debut in GT4 sport this year.

The entire ME Motorsport team has spent intensive weeks preparing for the ADAC GT4 Germany. After the official test day of the race series in Hockenheim, the team spent two days of testing at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben last week in order to perfectly prepare for the two races at the start of the season. The team was able to learn a lot and is traveling well prepared for the start of the season.

“It's finally starting this weekend in Oschersleben! “, says team owner and driver Markus Eichele. “We have prepared intensively for the upcoming season and were also able to learn a lot during the test in Oschersleben, but you can only see the true pace of all cars in qualifying. Our goal is clear: We want to fight for good results in both the Junior and Trophy standings! ”

The two ADAC GT4 Germany races will be broadcasted live and in full on SPORT1 on free TV. On Saturday and Sunday, the two scoring rounds will start at 16:40. The two ADAC GT4 Germany races and qualifiers will also be streamed live on YouTube.
